◾ Cyclists
Denmark is among the most active countries when it comes to cycling. In and around the city, you'll encounter cyclists everywhere. This means that bike lanes are present alongside almost every road, and even in the absence of a dedicated path, it's important to drive attentively due to the high number of cyclists.
◾ Toll Roads
On most main roads in the country, there is no need to pay a toll.
The primary roads where a toll is required include the Oresund Bridge, connecting Denmark to Sweden, and the Storebelt Bridge, linking several islands.
◾ Taking the Rental Car Out of the Country

Make sure to specify the countries you plan to visit during the booking process (or mention them to our representative if you're booking over the phone) so that you can receive written approval from the provider, ensuring coverage in terms of safety and road service.
Note that in some European countries, like Switzerland and Austria, a special sticker is required for driving on highways. These can be purchased at kiosks at border crossings. The responsibility for buying and correctly applying the sticker lies solely with the person renting the car, so make sure to follow local authority instructions. Always check the need for a sticker whenever you exit one country and enter another.
Jutland
Jutland, a peninsula comprising about 70% of Denmark's land area, is essentially the mainland portion of Denmark, with the remaining part located in northern Germany. The principal city of Jutland is Aalborg, a captivating city with a rich Viking heritage, including an ancient Viking burial site. The city, brimming with culture, boasts museums, gourmet cuisine, and a vibrant nightlife. It's also noted for its numerous fountains and statues. The most popular attractions in the city include the Town Square, City Hall, canal tours, Stroget – the world's longest pedestrian shopping street, Nyhavn harbor with the famous Little Mermaid statue, and Tivoli Gardens, a large amusement park in the city center. Grenen: The Meeting Point of Seas at Grenen
The northernmost point in Denmark, Grenen, is where two seas meet. Standing at the observation point, you can witness the convergence of the Skagerrak and Kattegat seas. This natural wonder, where two bodies of water meet but do not mix, is a rare sight worldwide. You can enjoy sitting on the beach, watching the waters, and observing the charming local wildlife - the seals. However, swimming is not recommended and is usually prohibited due to the strong currents.
