Extension of third-party insurance - SLI / LDW
In the USA, this serves as an addition to the standard third-party insurance, protecting up to a maximum of 1 million USD. Learn more about SLI/LDW third-party insurance
Personal accident insurance - PAI
This insurance offers protection for the individual renting the vehicle against physical injuries resulting from a traffic accident while using the rented vehicle. Typically, it also covers theft or damage to personal belongings in case the rented vehicle is broken into.
Please note: the car rental agreement does not include medical insurance or coverage for bodily and property damage for you, any additional drivers, or passengers in the rental car, including injuries or damages arising from traffic accidents during the rental period. Therefore, you are responsible for securing appropriate insurance coverage on your own, ensuring it meets your specific needs and aligns with the terms of the chosen insurance policy.
